Olivia's Heartfelt Story of Facing Premature Metaphase at Just 28

Hello, I’m Olivia.

Nine years ago, at 28, I received a diagnosis of premature early menopause. I was informed that if I wanted to have children, I would need to consider egg donation. Despite the idea of needing an egg donor, our desire to have kids was stronger. What truly stressed me out was figuring out the logistics and how to navigate the process. I wished for someone to guide me through each step, explaining what to do, when to do it, and why. I’m someone who thrives on following clear instructions and staying committed to my goals.

As we explored our options, we found Ira and Embryon. Ira was incredibly sensitive and knowledgeable about egg donation and understood the emotions I was experiencing during our initial conversation about our choices. I remember our first meeting lasting over two hours, filled with questions about the program, the clinic, and all the potential “what ifs” regarding an unsuccessful embryo transfer. After that first discussion, we met two more times and had several lengthy phone calls to address all my additional questions I had before officially contracting with Embryon.

Ira was there for me throughout the entire journey, coordinating the necessary tests, timing everything with my OB-GYN, arranging the sperm pickup for the clinic, and supporting me from the moment I arrived in Kyiv until I returned home. Even during the anxious wait for my pregnancy blood test, Ira was a comforting presence, helping me manage my nerves.

Ultimately, I became pregnant with triplets, but after a reduction, I faced the heartbreaking termination of the pregnancy at 22 weeks. This setback didn’t stop us; we decided to transfer one 5-day embryo instead. Nine months later, my daughter was born. Three years after that, I underwent my third embryo transfer and was thrilled to welcome my son into the world.

Throughout these years, my husband and I have kept in touch with Ira, who has always been available whenever we needed him. Now, at 39, I’m preparing for my final attempt to conceive, hoping for a third child. Ira is still by our side, supporting us every step of the way.

I can't express enough how much we recommend Ira, and we will forever be grateful to Ira and The Embryon Family.
